2018 marks the 15th Anniversary of Hearts of Hope, the primary fundraising dinner and auction for Midwest Heart Connection.
The funds attained at this event are used solely to provide the following year’s events, activities, services and education that directly benefit the families of MHC. Some services and activities that are directly impacted by the monies donated during Hearts of Hope are: MHC’s support of Children’s Hospital & Medical Center’s Heart Station; underwriting of Camp Braveheart; purchases for Care Kits given to pediatric heart patients at the hospital for surgery; planning and execution of Family Connection opportunities held during the year; financial support for Continuing Education funds for caregivers of CHD patients; and funding of the National Pediatric Cardiology Quality Improvement Collaborative.
Our goal for this year is to attain over $100,000 allowing us to provide more education and support to the families of MHC during 2018-2019. Hearts of Hope is a fun-filled night dedicated to honoring these little hearts, and the doctors and nurses who provide exceptional care for them. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the evening of Friday October 5th, 2018, you and your guests will be treated to an open-bar Social Hour for your enjoyment while you peruse the Silent and Super Silent Auctions. After the Silent Auction, your night will continue as you are treated to a sit-down dinner, MHC program, and finally, dessert and Live Auction.
